The GYVI GALI team managed to get a lot of advertising space for free (!), which will allow them to reach at least several hundred thousand Vilnius residents and guests of the city! These will be commercials talking about the environmental benefits of a plant-based diet. 4 weeks. Buses, video screens and advertising columns.
And although we get the areas for free, the preparatory work costs. We are hiring an agency to prepare these advertisements. All works will cost EUR 6000 in total. We believe that such an opportunity will hardly ever arise again. Paying tens of thousands of euros for advertising space is a bit too much luxury for young NGOs.
At the same time, allocating EUR 6,000 for the work is also a big financial commitment. However, we cannot pass up such an opportunity and we are reaching out to our community for help. We invite you to contribute one-time support to the dissemination of herbal messages.
Within a week of the start of the campaign - almost half of the amount
We announced the funds collected for the advertising campaign on November 19. Since then, in just a week, thanks to some amazing people, we've raised almost half of the required amount!
Among the individual supporters who have supported, there are those who support both 2 and 300 EUR. Everyone contributes as much as they can - everyone's contribution is extremely significant. During the week, almost 150 people supported the campaign.
Funds are collected until December 3rd (Generosity Tuesday).
The best time to contribute is now
Not only many people believed in the idea of plant-based advertisements, but also the company Oxylabs. They say they will triple the incoming support to the €1,500 mark for the rest of the week. This means that every euro that is allocated triples its value! By supporting 5 euros - Oxylabs adds another 10, by supporting 50 euros - another 100 will come from Oxylabs, etc. And so even up to 1500 EUR!
We will allocate the entire amount, which will exceed the design preparation work, for dissemination on social networks, so that plant messages spread not only in Vilnius, but also throughout Lithuania.
The kind of food we eat has a big impact on the climate. Unfortunately, people still lack knowledge about it. We believe that this campaign will help stimulate a wider debate and educate the public about the environmental benefits of including plant-based foods in our daily diet.
