Plant promises for next year


New Year is here! Many of us think about a list of New Year's resolutions. Maybe you want to lose a few pounds to fit into your favorite jeans, or maybe you want to contribute more to a more sustainable environment. In that case, we suggest adding a commitment to your list - to eat plant-based food! Here are 10 small steps towards a more plant-based diet:

  1. Take one step at a time. For example, include plant-based milk in your diet for the first week. For the next week, replace the meat on your plate with plant-based protein.
  2. Try at least one new plant-based recipe each week to build up a supply of your favorite meals. Get ideas you can always here.
  3. Do an audit of the refrigerator and kitchen cabinets. Buy products for plant-based dishes. With the basic ingredients on hand, you'll always be ready to make something plant-based.
  4. Discover grocery stores where you can buy vegan foods.
  5. Join the vegan groups online or search for like-minded people in person. You won't believe it, but environmental support is inspiring!
  6.  Make plant-based meals when preparing the holidays. If you are going to a party or meeting - bring your own dish. In this way, you will inspire others by showing that a plant-based diet is incredibly delicious.
  7. When eating in the city, choose only plant-based dishes. If you're not sure what vegan options a restaurant offers, ask them. You'd be surprised how many non-vegan dishes can be made plant-based! Well, discovering places that supply plant-based food will help campaign HERE YOU CAN.
  8. Make sure you're getting the nutrients you need, especially vitamin B12, vitamin D and iron.
